MEWP Training Successfully Completed – Safety First, Always
The team recently completed Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) training, covering both classroom learning and hands-on practical drills. Led by Safety Manager Siarhei Rushynski, the training focused on real-world scenarios and reinforcing safe work practices. This effort reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring every job is done safely and efficiently.
Why MEWP Practical Drills Matter❓
Theory is essential, but safety in the field demands more than just knowledge. Our practical drills provided real-world simulation of:
🔃 Safe maneuvering of boom lifts and scissor lifts
👷♂️ Proper use of fall protection gear
🕹️ Emergency lowering procedures
⚠️ Awareness of overhead and ground-level hazards
👥 Effective team communication during aerial operations
These real-time drills prepare our team for the physical and mental demands of working at height, ensuring that everyone is confident and capable before stepping on a lift.
Safety Talks with Field Technicians
An equally important part of this training was the open discussion with our field technicians. They face the hazards firsthand. These conversations focused on:
– Putting safety before speed: No job is urgent enough to justify cutting corners.
– Accountability: Each technician is responsible not only for their own safety but also for their team.
– Protecting the company: Unsafe practices risk injuries, lost contracts, and legal issues.
We emphasized that safety is not a rule—it’s a value. It protects lives, secures careers, and builds trust with our clients.
